Advanced Machine Design
Overview
Advanced Machine Design gives mechanical teams a practical, standards-based grounding they can apply on site the following week, with cases from oil, gas, power and process plants. It is aimed at experienced practitioners who want to analyse complex cases, optimise performance and lead improvements.
What you will be able to do
- Analyse complex problems in Machine Design using structured methods.
- Optimise results through design principles and governing codes (API, ASME, ISO).
- Evaluate performance curves, operating envelopes and efficiency and justify decisions with data and standards.
- Lead improvement projects on installation, alignment and commissioning.
- Coach colleagues and turn good practice into written procedures.
Who should attend
- Experienced practitioners with three or more years in the field
- Mechanical engineers and supervisors
- Maintenance and reliability technicians
- Operations and plant engineers
- Inspection and technical integrity staff
Daily outline
- Day 1Advanced review and current challenges in Machine Design
